Knight Precision Wire has extensive facilities for producing high quality flat wire. Our five rolling mills, equipped with edge-rolling and laser-gauging, produce both round-edge and square-edge precision flat wire.

A particular skill is the rolling of thin narrow sections of flat wire, with width to thickness ratios of less than 8:1.

A recent investment in edge-dressing equipment enables Knight Precision Wire to offer custom flat wire edge profiles.

In partnership with a major customer, Knight Precision Wire have developed a flat wire indenting process to produce flat wire ready keyed for rubber coating.

Flat wire is typically delivered on spools in either random or

precision layer wound condition.
